TL;DR

Account Executive (Fintech): Managing the full sales cycle for a high-growth HR and payroll platform with an accent on B2B lead generation, cold prospecting, and territory development. Focus on building a robust pipeline, negotiating contracts, and acting as a trusted advisor to small business owners in the Tampa area.

Location: Must be based in or able to work from the Tampa, FL office (Hybrid)

Compensation: $83,700 base salary with On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $163,700.

What you will do

  • Manage an end-to-end sales pipeline from initial prospecting to contract closing.
  • Develop and execute a territory marketing and networking plan to engage the local entrepreneur community.
  • Conduct proactive cold outreach using market research and sales tools.
  • Communicate the value proposition of the platform effectively to potential customers.
  • Advocate internally for product improvements based on customer feedback and market needs.
  • Travel within the Tampa territory (approx. 25%) for networking and client meetings.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an Account Executive role.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience managing a complete, consultative sales cycle.
  • Proven experience in B2B lead generation within SaaS, PEO, or Fintech.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, SalesLoft, LinkedIn SalesNavigator, and/or ZoomInfo.
  • Demonstrated success in cold-calling and hunter-style sales.
  • Must be located in or able to commute to Tampa, FL.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Outreach.io, Hubspot, 6Sense, or Hoovers/D&B.
