Fluid Systems Design Engineer (Aerospace)

TL;DR

Fluid Systems Design Engineer (CREO): Developing 3D fluid line routes and production CAD activities for aerospace programs with an accent on propellant, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Location: Fully remote from anywhere in the United States; may require occasional on-site presence at customer or manufacturing facilities.

What you will do

• Develop 3D fluid line routes for propellant, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems using CREO.
• Coordinate routing paths with structures, thermal, and electrical teams to resolve interferences.
• Produce detailed 2D engineering drawings including bend tables and material callouts.
• Manage model configurations and revisions via WindChill PLM.
• Support design-to-production transitions through audits and as-built reconciliation.

Requirements

• Must be a Green Card holder or US Citizen.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 3–8 years of experience in aerospace or defense engineering design.
• High proficiency in CREO for 3D line routing and tube assembly modeling.
• Experience producing .drw format 2D engineering drawings.

Nice to have

• Experience routing fluid lines for launch vehicles or spacecraft.
• Knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and fluid system standards (AS4395, NAS).
• Experience working in ITAR-controlled environments.
• Proficiency with WindChill PLM.
