Salary: $110 - $125 USD per hour

What you will do

• Design mechanical parts and subassemblies that meet user, functional, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the internal R&D team to ensure successful product design and manufacture.
• Research and manage external suppliers to develop custom parts.
• Develop verification, validation, and reliability processes in coordination with the Quality team.
• Conduct reliability testing (drop, ingress, thermal, and cycle) and ensure product certification via external laboratories.
• Produce detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and tolerance analyses, while optimizing assembly through DFX.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Science or Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience with mechanical design and CAD tools.
• 3+ years of experience with manufacturing and assembly process development.
• Experience with medical device research and/or development.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Sunnyvale 4-5 days per week.
