Salary: $160,000–$200,000

What you will do

• Lead and develop a team of approximately 25 direct and non-direct reports, overseeing hiring and performance management.
• Provide technical leadership in the design and integration of complex actuation systems.
• Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and methods.
• Represent the company with customers and partners during program capture and execution.
• Collaborate across global sites to align priorities and resolve technical challenges.
• Foster a high-trust, high-accountability culture focused on proactive problem-solving.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Applied Science.
• 10+ years of experience in the aerospace industry, including 3+ years in management.
• Must be able to work onsite full-time in Torrance, CA.
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. security clearance and work on Special Access Programs (SAP).
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong business and financial acumen with experience in complex actuation systems and DFM/DFMA.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience managing others and leading large-scale aerospace NPI programs.
• Demonstrated design experience including detailed concept development, drawing definition, and GD&T.
