What you will do

• Serve as a subject matter expert for data observability for both internal teams and the external community.
• Develop technical content including demos, blog posts, documentation, and research reports to build brand reputation.
• Publicly represent the company through speaking engagements, webinars, and open-source contributions.
• Coach internal product and engineering teams on effective technical communication and presentations.
• Provide a critical feedback loop to the product team via bug reports and enhancement suggestions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a software developer, data engineer, or SRE building production systems.
• 3+ years of experience in developer relations or advocacy reaching technical audiences.
• Deep hands-on experience with distributed processing (e.g., Apache Spark, Databricks) and analytics platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one language like Python, Scala, Java, or Go.
• Knowledge of streaming systems (Kafka) and data quality/lineage tools (dbt, OpenLineage).
• Must be based in California, Colorado, Illinois, New York, or Washington.

• Experience supporting data pipelines for ML or AI systems.
