Manager I, Engineering - OrgStore Blueprint (Postgres)

What you will do

• Lead and mentor a team of 4–8 software engineers, supporting career growth and high performance.
• Drive the technical roadmap with engineering, product, and support stakeholders.
• Guide the development and maintenance of OrgStore, a fully managed platform for storing and searching transactional data.
• Engage with complex technical problems and create actionable engineering plans.
• Contribute code, review changes, make design decisions, and participate in the on-call rotation.
• Align technical decisions with business goals and contribute to engineering-wide initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience building developer tools, running databases, and maintaining infrastructure.
• Strong focus on reliability and fault tolerance.
• Experience managing team dynamics, setting goals, providing feedback, and supporting a productive work environment.
• Ability to plan and oversee multiple software engineering projects.
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with engineers, stakeholders, and senior management.
• Experience using AI coding tools and validating, critiquing, and refining AI-generated output.
