Senior Electronics Engineer for Space Equipments (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Lead and contribute to the development of electrical equipment for satellites in institutional and commercial space missions.
• Act as the main technical interface with customers such as ESA and prime contractors.
• Lead the preparation and execution of key project reviews and milestones (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, QR).
• Define electrical architecture and drive detailed design activities.
• Coordinate the preparation of technical documentation in accordance with ECSS standards.
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate electrical and functional verification, validation, and qualification activities.

Requirements

• Degree in electronics, telecommunications, or related disciplines.
• Proven experience in the development of electrical equipment, including FPGA/SoC-based systems.
• Solid knowledge of system development life cycles and hardware certification or qualification processes.
• English: Fluency in spoken and written English required.
• Location: Must be based in or be able to relocate to Bucharest, Romania.

Nice to have

• Experience in coordinating and guiding technical teams.
• Familiarity with ECSS standards and quality assurance processes in the space sector.
• Knowledge of onboard processors, SoC, and onboard communication architectures.
• Previous participation in space programs at ESA or other institutions.
