What you will do

• Create and maintain schematic symbols, footprints, and 3D geometry for electronic components.
• Manage CAD libraries using PDM and internal component request systems.
• Ensure all designs adhere to IPC standards, manufacturing processes, and internal quality regulations.
• Collaborate with the IC packaging team to optimize pinouts for performance, routability, and cost.
• Participate in peer reviews of CAD library assets to maintain high quality.
• Monitor component lifecycles and ensure compliance with international standards like RoHS and REACH.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics, product/industrial design, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Cadence, Allegro PCB Librarian, OrCAD, or similar tools.
• Solid understanding of electronic components and PCB/PCBA manufacturing processes.
• Ability to interpret 2D and 3D mechanical drawings, projections, and dimensions.
• Knowledge of DFx processes and IPC standards for fabrication and assembly.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
