Location: Hybrid (minimum 3 days per week in Englewood Cliffs, NJ). Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 yearly

What you will do
- Edit and publish stories on deadline in a fast-paced digital news environment
- Craft audience-focused headlines and leads that align with the brand voice
- Identify timely trends and angles to shape daily and enterprise coverage
- Collaborate with reporters and producers to develop innovative story concepts and editorial series
- Copy edit and fact check content to maintain high journalistic standards
- Coordinate short- and long-term content planning and social strategies with leadership
Requirements
- At least five years of editing experience in a digital newsroom or publishing environment
- Exceptional writing, editing, and copyediting skills
- Deep understanding of digital news production and journalistic standards
- Proven ability to make complex financial or professional topics accessible to a broad audience
- Unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Nice to have
- Background in finance, economics, or financial planning
- Experience working with certified experts like CFPs or tax professionals
- Proficiency in AP style and light photo editing
- Experience at a major online news site or financial publication
