What you will do

• Design and construct scientific hardware and control interfaces (both hardware and software) for the quantum computing platform.
• Generate intellectual property related to the design and operation of neutral-atom-based quantum computers.
• Distill and communicate findings through internal reports, external publications, and presentations.
• Lead high-impact technical projects to advance the state-of-the-art in quantum computing.

Requirements

• PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of industry experience designing and operating quantum computing hardware.
• Proven track record in an explicit technical leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of atomic physics and quantum computing research techniques.
• Deep understanding of the fundamental interactions between light and matter.
• Location: Must work on-site in Boulder, CO

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Python.
• Experience with Git software version control.
