TL;DR

Engineering Manager (Legaltech): Leading and developing a team of engineers to build intelligent systems for the litigation technology industry with an accent on technical standards, SDLC improvement, and cross-functional collaboration. Location: Remote (Must be based in the United States)

Salary: $190,000 - $230,000 plus a yearly discretionary bonus

What you will do

  • Lead and develop a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship through regular one-on-ones.
  • Maintain high technical standards by participating in technical discussions and code reviews.
  • Manage resource allocations and project planning while collaborating on cross-functional initiatives.
  • Champion and continuously improve the company's SDLC processes.
  • Facilitate engineering-related compliance activities, such as SOC2 and penetration testing.
  • Drive recruitment and interviewing processes to scale the engineering team.

Requirements

  • Strong technical background with broad knowledge of software development.
  • Proven track record of developing and leading talented software teams.
  • Experience with software project methodologies like Scrum and Kanban.
  • Understanding of compliance and security considerations in software development.
  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Must be based in the United States.
