What you will do

• Prepare complete and accurate cost estimates for diverse municipal, government, and private clients.
• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and assign crew productivity for various disciplines.
• Collaborate with design teams to understand project complexity, size, and process systems.
• Manage multiple project timelines and ensure estimate compliance with project documents.
• Direct, train, and develop junior estimators while championing continuous improvement.
• Provide independent assessments of estimate accuracy, including man-hours, material, and construction costs.

Requirements

• 6 to 20 years of relevant experience in estimating or related construction fields.
• Ability to interpret complex specifications, contracts, and project design scopes.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access.
• Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding, including background checks and drug screening.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical advice and presentations.

Nice to have

• BS or MS degree in Construction Management or a related field.
• Prior field or project-specific experience.
