What you will do

• Develop detailed cost estimates for complex electrical and integrated systems.
• Create comprehensive Basis of Estimate documentation including methodology and work breakdown structures.
• Perform precise quantity takeoffs and apply labor/material pricing schedules.
• Conduct risk analysis, value engineering, and constructability reviews during the design phase.
• Monitor market trends, labor availability, and material pricing to refine bid strategies.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and functional leads to gather accurate pricing data.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of electrical/systems estimating experience in industrial or heavy commercial construction.
• Expert ability to interpret advanced electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Proven proficiency in quantity surveys and complex unit-price/labor-factor calculations.
• Expert proficiency in estimating suites such as Bluebeam and MS Project.
• Deep working knowledge of relevant electrical codes.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Proven track record in Hard Bid general contracting environments.
• Hands-on field experience with electrical/systems installations.
• Proficiency in Sage Estimating software.
