What you will do

• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and vendor proposals to establish project scope and critical tasks.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including crew sizing, resource allocation, and level-one schedules.
• Issue and evaluate RFPs to qualified vendors and subcontractors to ensure competitive and technically sound bids.
• Calculate statistical data including quantity take-offs, material pricing, and labor costs.
• Research historical project data to compile summary reports and establish guidelines for future estimates.
• Recommend optimal design solutions based on cost, engineering quality, and material availability.

Requirements

• Four-year degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in renewable construction (wind, solar, or battery storage) or 4+ years in general construction estimating.
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, purchase orders, and cost coding systems.
• Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and cost control.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Proficiency in HCSS Heavy Bid and Microsoft Office.

• Experience with Salesforce, Oracle, and Sisense.
