What you will do

• Lead and oversee all on-site construction activities including structural, electrical, mechanical, and commissioning phases.
• Manage general contractors, subcontractors, and trade partners to ensure work is delivered to specification.
• Own the construction schedule, track progress, and drive corrective actions to mitigate critical-path risks.
• Monitor project budgets, review change orders, and support cost control against forecasts.
• Enforce a strong safety culture in compliance with OSHA requirements and site safety plans.
• Serve as the primary on-site contact for stakeholders, engineers, vendors, and local authorities.

Requirements

• Must be able to work full-time on-site in Point Pleasant, West Virginia.
• Extensive experience leading large-scale, complex industrial or mission-critical infrastructure projects in the field.
• Proven track record managing full project lifecycles from groundbreaking through commissioning and turnover.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and structural systems with the ability to interpret construction drawings.
• Deep understanding of construction safety standards and OSHA requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions in the field.

Nice to have

• Experience building data centres, power plants, or industrial facilities.
• Familiarity with critical power distribution, backup generation, and liquid cooling systems.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Relevant trade or professional construction certifications.
