Associate Electrical Engineer (Distribution)

What you will do

• Develop electrical distribution deliverables (up to 34.5kV) from design through execution.
• Prepare equipment specifications and Bills of Materials (BOM) for procurement and construction.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met.
• Perform QA/QC responsibilities and internal technical reviews.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across multiple disciplines.
• Conduct research to develop equipment and material recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
• Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and standards including NESC and NEC.
• Experience with overhead and underground distribution line projects for investor-owned utilities in the United States.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements including background checks and drug screens.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (Visa sponsorship is not available).

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of the proposal process and developing engineering estimates.
• Experience with interdisciplinary project coordination including permitting and land acquisition.
