Distribution Design Associate Engineer (Hybrid Schedule)

Location: Stamford, CT, United States; hybrid schedule

Salary: $82,000–$88,000 annually, plus incentive

What you will do

• Support planning, analysis, and improvement projects for assigned electric distribution circuits.
• Review interruption reports and analyze voltage deficiencies, overloads, outages, and power quality issues.
• Develop corrective actions, contingency plans, equipment repair or replacement recommendations, and distribution project proposals.
• Provide engineering support for customer additions, field engineering design, easements, customer service issues, and distribution operations.
• Model and analyze the distribution system using SynerGee, PTI, USAmp, PI, Visio, and related software.
• Participate in storm restoration, emergency preparedness, emergency assignments, and distributed generation interconnection reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Zero to three years of equivalent Energy Delivery experience preferred.
• Knowledge of distribution systems and circuit analysis software preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license required.
