TL;DR
Renewals Specialist (Sales): Managing customer renewal opportunities and strengthening client relationships to drive retention and growth with an accent on consultative engagement and CRM pipeline management. Focus on guiding customers through the renewal lifecycle, identifying expansion opportunities, and ensuring operational excellence in account documentation.
Location: Must be based in or able to work from State College, Pennsylvania, USA. This role is ineligible for visa sponsorship and requires legal authorization to work in the US.

What you will do
- Own the end-to-end renewal process for assigned customer accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including procurement and decision-makers.
- Recommend licensing options based on customer use cases and business goals.
- Manage renewal quotations and maintain accurate pipeline data in the CRM.
- Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to maximize account value.
- Assist in resolving billing and invoice-related inquiries to ensure a positive experience.
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Economics, or Business preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and consultative questioning skills.
- Ability to lead customer meetings and conference calls effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM management and written documentation.
- English proficiency required.
Nice to have
- Experience with software contracts, subscriptions, or licensing.
- Familiarity with products and services.
- Knowledge of industries served by and their business drivers.
- Understanding of Customer Engagement Lifecycle (CEL) frameworks.
