Renewals Account Manager: Manage and accelerate customer retention and growth by owning the renewal lifecycle and driving expansion with an accent on customer relationship management, commercial negotiations, and technical product value articulation. Location: US Remote, preferably San Francisco or New York

Salary: $150K-$200K On-Target Earnings

What you will do

  • Manage the entire renewal lifecycle for a portfolio of commercial customers ensuring high on-time renewal rates.
  • Develop and maintain renewal forecasts and meet or exceed renewal and net retention targets.
  • Identify and mitigate churn risk by monitoring customer health and product usage.
  • Uncover and execute expansion opportunities aligned with customer needs and product features.
  • Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders from technical users to economic buyers.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and manage quoting and procurement processes.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in the US (remote) with preference for San Francisco or New York
  • 5+ years in quota-carrying, customer-facing roles such as Account Management or Renewals Manager in B2B SaaS.
  • Proven success in retention and expansion quotas with strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Technical aptitude with familiarity in AI/LLM stack is a significant plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills to engage diverse audiences including executives.
  • Proficiency with CRM software like Salesforce for pipeline management.

Nice to have

  • Experience at high-growth, developer-first, or AI/ML infrastructure companies.
  • Experience managing renewals in consumption or usage-based pricing models.
