Manager, Technical Accounting & Policy (Finance): Executing technical accounting strategy and supporting the consistent application of accounting policies with an accent on evaluating complex transactions and ensuring U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance. Focus on leading technical research, preparing accounting memos, and acting as a subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Englewood Cliffs, NJ (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office)

Salary: $90,000 - $125,000

What you will do

• Lead accounting analysis and documentation for complex transactions including business combinations, leases, and impairments.
• Prepare technical accounting memos to support management conclusions under U.S. GAAP.
• Provide technical guidance to Controllership and FP&A teams on operational execution.
• Monitor emerging accounting pronouncements and coordinate implementation readiness.
• Support preparation of footnote disclosures and MD&A sections in collaboration with External Reporting.
• Assist with SOX control documentation and ensure audit readiness for key estimates and judgments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA certification required.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in financial accounting, audit, or policy roles.
• Must be willing to work in the Englewood Cliffs, NJ office at least 3 days per week.
• Strong understanding of SEC reporting, U.S. GAAP, and SOX compliance.
• Ability to collaborate and influence across multiple levels of the organization.
