TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Los Angeles, California (Hybrid: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote).

Salary: $130,000–$150,000 plus annual bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Prepare and review financial statements and footnote disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements.
• Support the filing of Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, ensuring accuracy through detailed disclosure checklists.
• Coordinate quarterly reviews and annual audits while partnering with external auditors and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain and enhance SOX documentation, including process flowcharts and risk/control matrices.
• Review stock-based compensation analyses and Black-Scholes valuation calculations.
• Mentor junior team members and assist with process automation initiatives within the financial reporting function.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required.
• Minimum 4 years of financial reporting experience or 3 years of public accounting experience.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Los Angeles office (Hybrid schedule).
• Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with large ERP systems (Oracle preferred).
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and internal controls.
• CPA certification is preferred.
