Audit Manager

TL;DR

Audit Manager (Assurance): Lead complex audit engagements for private, public, and nonprofit organizations with an accent on regulatory compliance, client relationships, and team mentorship. Focus on reviewing financial statements, resolving accounting issues, and driving process improvements.

Location: Hybrid from offices in Coral Springs, FL; Jacksonville, FL; Tampa, FL. US East Coast-based team with EST hours; authorized to work in the U.S. required.

Salary: $106,000–$150,000 annually.

What you will do

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion.
• Supervise, mentor, and review work of audit staff and seniors.
• Serve as primary client contact and manage relationships.
• Review workpapers and financial statements for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify and resolve accounting/audit issues; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Contribute to audit process improvements and business development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Accounting; Active CPA required.
• 5+ years public accounting audit experience; prior supervisory/management experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and GAAS; authorized to work in the U.S.
• Proficiency with audit software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills.

Nice to have

• Expertise auditing nonprofits, private/public entities, 401(k) plans.
• Experience with M&A, divestitures, single audits, FDOT audits.
• Knowledge of internal controls, SOX, IAS/IFRS, GAAS/ISA.
• Ability to leverage technology and data analytics in audits.
