What you will do

• Oversee general accounting operations, including the verification, allocation, and approval of accounts payable.
• Manage month-end and year-end close procedures and perform account balance reconciliations.
• Produce and present comprehensive accounting reports and financial statements.
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls.
• Direct internal and external audits to ensure full compliance with GAAP principles.
• Collaborate with Finance and Accounting managers to optimize financial reporting and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of accounting experience (public accounting preferred).
• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Must be based in the US and able to work in a hybrid capacity in Wakefield, MA.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
