TL;DR

QHSE Training Professional (Safety/Compliance): Supporting the QHSE Audit Optimization Department by maintaining audit quality, training new auditors, and overseeing education initiatives with an accent on ISO 9001 compliance and safety management systems. Focus on validating auditor assessments, developing SOPs, and driving corrective action initiatives to ensure high-quality safety benchmarking for global clients.

Location: Hybrid (3 days in office) if within commutable distance to Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; or Lehi, UT. Remote considered for candidates outside commutable distance.

What you will do

• Facilitate training sessions for new FTE and Independent Contractor auditors.
• Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and work instructions for audits.
• Review and validate auditor assessments of supplier QHSE management systems and protocols.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to identify and implement corrective actions.
• Lead calibration sessions to share best practices and address top error categories among QHSE professionals.
• Ensure organizational compliance with ISO 9001 and relevant certification standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of robust experience in safety supply chain management.
• Profound knowledge of OSHA regulations and familiarity with agencies like EPA, MSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, ANSI, and ISO.
• Experience developing and maintaining quality documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, and web conferencing tools.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under pressure.
• Safety experience is essential as this role involves auditing safety auditors.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in a QHSE-related discipline.
• Advanced safety designation (CSP, ASP, NEBOSH, etc.).
• Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) designation.
• Prior experience in an hirify.global HSE Professional role.
• Background in Industry & Field HSE.
