Application Engineer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Support technical engineering and customer liaison for engine and electrified powertrain test systems integration.
• Commission and troubleshoot mechanical infrastructure, battery, e-motor, and emission measurement systems.
• Implement and tune control loops and integrate simulation models and auxiliary equipment.
• Review test cycles and screens for test bed data acquisition automation software.
• Service, troubleshoot, and calibrate industrial drives, dynamometers, and measurement devices.
• Write scripts to automate custom processes and provide technical training to customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the described job duties.
• Ability to travel up to 40% to various client locations throughout the U.S.
• Must be based in the United States to work from a home office.
