What you will do
- Own and operate the electrical safety and compliance engineering service area, ensuring availability and quality.
- Align service roadmaps with delivery requirements and prioritize usage across MDUs.
- Continuously improve engineering services based on user input, industry trends, and academia.
- Manage, mentor, and align responsibilities for a small technical team of up to 10 members.
- Enforce electrical safety requirements across designs, equipment, labs, and operational environments.
- Act as the primary interface point for similar service teams across other global sites.
Requirements
- Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology per US Export Administration Regulations.
- BS in engineering or a relevant technical field (MSc or PhD preferred).
- 8+ years of technical background in electrical safety or relevant engineering services.
- Expertise in electrical safety standards and codes including IEC, UL, NFPA, OSHA, DEKRA, SEMI-S2, and CE/Low Voltage Directive.
- Proven experience in leadership and managing people within complex engineering environments.
- Deep knowledge of high-voltage systems, power distribution, grounding, insulation, and EMC/ESD.
