TL;DR

Foundation Team Leader (Electrical Safety & Compliance): Managing an engineering service area for electrical safety and compliance with an accent on risk assessment, hazard mitigation, and regulatory adherence. Focus on ensuring system performance across high-voltage systems and managing a technical team in a complex engineering environment.

Location: Wilton, CT, US. Hybrid arrangement with onsite presence required (remote work allowed up to two days a week).

What you will do

  • Own and operate the electrical safety and compliance engineering service area, ensuring availability and quality.
  • Align service roadmaps with delivery requirements and prioritize usage across MDUs.
  • Continuously improve engineering services based on user input, industry trends, and academia.
  • Manage, mentor, and align responsibilities for a small technical team of up to 10 members.
  • Enforce electrical safety requirements across designs, equipment, labs, and operational environments.
  • Act as the primary interface point for similar service teams across other global sites.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to access controlled technology per US Export Administration Regulations.
  • BS in engineering or a relevant technical field (MSc or PhD preferred).
  • 8+ years of technical background in electrical safety or relevant engineering services.
  • Expertise in electrical safety standards and codes including IEC, UL, NFPA, OSHA, DEKRA, SEMI-S2, and CE/Low Voltage Directive.
  • Proven experience in leadership and managing people within complex engineering environments.
  • Deep knowledge of high-voltage systems, power distribution, grounding, insulation, and EMC/ESD.
