What you will do

• Execute switching for live, fast-paced news programming in accordance with Director instructions.
• Prepare, route, and manage video and audio signal paths.
• Build, program, and execute switcher effects and transitions.
• Serve as Crew Chief when assigned to support studio and control room operational needs.
• Test and troubleshoot broadcast systems and equipment prior to air.
• Partner with Operations Management and Engineering to ensure technical systems meet operational standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating production switchers, including Sony MVS series.
• Experience with Ross Video switchers and automation systems such as OverDrive.
• Familiarity with Chyron ISQ systems and other switcher-related peripherals.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a live news and/or sports production control room environment.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and extended hours.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and advanced PC technical troubleshooting skills.
