Salary: $40.19 – $61.48 per hour

What you will do

• Capture visually compelling content for broadcast, streaming, digital, and social platforms.
• Operate Sony ENG, FX-series cinema systems, and DSLR/mirrorless platforms for both fast-turn and cinematic results.
• Execute professional field lighting and record high-quality audio using wireless microphone/IFB systems.
• Configure and operate CBNG and IP-based bonded-cellular field systems for live news and breaking coverage.
• Perform full post-production, including editing, color correction, and audio mixing in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Collaborate with producers and reporters to ensure editorial consistency across NBC and Telemundo brands.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional news photography experience in a mid-to-major broadcast market.
• Advanced proficiency with Sony camera systems and Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Proven ability to deliver shoot-to-edit content independently.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
• Willingness to work in Chicago, IL on a variable schedule, including nights and weekends.

Nice to have

• FAA Part 107 Drone License and field-operation experience.
• Fluency in Spanish or experience working in bilingual newsroom environments.
• Operational experience with Fonn Saga (NRCS) and Mimir (MAM) systems.
