• Produce analytical stories connecting technology developments, business news, and market impact.
• Create multimedia content for television, digital, and social platforms.
• Collaborate with CNBC reporters and editors to deepen enterprise coverage.
• Translate complex technological and regulatory developments into clear, accessible journalism.

Requirements

• Significant experience covering technology, markets, or corporate power at a major news organization.
• Proven ability to break scoops and deliver agenda-setting journalism.
• Strong understanding of technology sectors such as AI, autonomy, aerospace, and manufacturing.
• Experience cultivating sources across industry, government, and investment communities.
• Must be based in San Francisco, CA for a hybrid work arrangement.
