What you will do

• Lead the design, production, and closeout of show lighting and power elements for various projects.
• Research and implement lighting technologies, fixtures, and installation methodologies.
• Generate detailed lighting plots, fixture schedules, and power/load schedules.
• Coordinate in-field installation, focusing, and maintenance of lighting elements.
• Collaborate with creative, production, and technical design teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Manage lighting project budgets, schedules, and technician labor forecasts.

Requirements

• BA in technical theatre, architecture, design, or 6+ years of equivalent experience in themed entertainment or touring.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Vectorworks.
• Experience with Lightwright or generating documentation in Vectorworks.
• Strong understanding of lighting design practices and show power distribution systems.
• Ability to interpret engineering, code, and architectural plans.
• Flexible availability for on-site work on weekends and overnights.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of low-voltage LED lighting and dimming systems.
• Experience programming ETC control systems (EOS, Mosaic, Paradigm).
