What you will do

• Support the design and development of power conversion systems.
• Assist in modeling and simulation of converter topologies and control strategies using MATLAB/Simulink or PLECS.
• Contribute to component selection, circuit design, and hardware bring-up.
• Characterize switching devices and magnetic components alongside senior engineers.
• Participate in prototyping and bench testing, including thermal profiling and efficiency measurement.
• Document test results and contribute to hardware design reviews.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong academic focus on power electronics fundamentals.
• Familiarity with circuit simulation tools like SPICE, LTspice, or PLECS.
• Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies.
• Comfort working in a hands-on lab environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Prior internship or research experience in power electronics.
• Experience with control systems for power converters.
• Familiarity with PCB design tools like Altium or KiCad.
• Programming experience for test automation (Python, MATLAB, or C).
