What you will do

• Build and test flight hardware in collaboration with the power engineering team.
• Design prototype circuits and specialized test equipment to validate designs under stressed conditions.
• Perform hardware bringup and debugging within the lab environment.
• Develop code to evaluate performance and automate the testing of satellite hardware.
• Coordinate assembly, integration, and environmental test efforts.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent technical degree).
• Demonstrated ability to personally design, build, and test hardware from scratch.
• Strong interest in learning and working with power electronics systems.
• Passion for hands-on hardware development in a fast-paced environment.
• US Citizenship or Green Card required to comply with export regulations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Altium Designer or other PCB design software.
• Proficiency with SPICE-based simulators (LTSpice, PSPICE, ADS, etc.).
• Comfortable with soldering and rework.
• Familiarity with standard EE lab bench equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of switched mode converter design (boost and buck converters).
• Experience with Python.
