What you will do

• Support the end-to-end proposal development process to create high-quality, winning responses for government and public sector opportunities.
• Review and rewrite proposal inputs from various contributors and update existing boilerplate content.
• Translate technical themes and concepts into copy that emphasizes company strengths and win themes.
• Interview technical and project staff to extract critical information necessary for proposal inclusion.
• Perform in-depth solicitation reviews and gap analyses to inform the team of specific requirements.
• Define and support the proposal response schedule while maintaining the corporate proposal library.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Reston, VA.
• 2+ years of related experience in proposal support.
• Excellent grammar, editing, and writing skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and hands-on knowledge of desktop publishing and graphics software.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify participant).

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications or a related major.
• Previous experience supporting a general contractor.
