What you will do

• Design and implement scalable data platforms and processing solutions using AWS services.
• Define and maintain data architectures supporting batch, streaming, and analytical workloads.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions and implementation plans.
• Manage workflows and data pipelines using orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or MWAA.
• Implement real-time data processing solutions using Apache Kafka, Amazon MSK, or Kinesis.
• Create architecture documentation, data schemas, and develop prototypes for innovation initiatives.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing scalable data platforms and data pipeline architectures.
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud services for data engineering and analytics workloads.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Databricks, or similar frameworks.
• Practical experience with Apache Airflow/MWAA and streaming technologies (Kafka, MSK, Kinesis).
• English: Upper-intermediate (B2) or higher required.
• Location: Must be based in Colombia.

Nice to have

• Experience with video, image, or audio processing pipelines for AI applications.
• Experience with IoT data platforms and processing solutions.
• Familiarity with NVIDIA technologies, GPU-accelerated computing, or AI infrastructure.
