Salary: $94,000 – $132,000 USD / $88,000 – $123,000 CAD

What you will do
- Own end-to-end administration of global leave programs, including medical, parental, and disability leaves, ensuring compliant and compassionate case management.
- Manage the workplace accommodations process by partnering with Legal and HR Business Partners to assess requests and implement solutions.
- Design, coordinate, and execute employee wellness programs that support physical, mental, and financial wellbeing for a remote-first workforce.
- Monitor global regulatory changes affecting leave entitlements to ensure programs remain compliant and competitive.
- Develop a reporting framework to track key metrics such as utilization rates, return-to-work trends, and cost drivers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Payroll, Benefits, and HR Ops to ensure accurate pay calculations and system updates.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in Leave of Absence administration and global wellness programs.
- Strong expertise in US and Canada leave regulations and compliance, including federal, state, and provincial entitlements.
- Experience administering workplace accommodations under the ADA and the Canadian Human Rights Act.
- Ability to manage sensitive employee situations with high empathy, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms and leave management systems (e.g., UKG, Sparrow).
- Must be based in the United States or Canada.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with UK leave entitlements (statutory maternity, paternity, and sick leave).
- Experience transitioning LOA administration from a third-party vendor to an in-house model.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English to support employees across Canada.
- Experience with insurer case management and cost containment strategies for disability programs.
