People Operations Specialist (Americas)

TL;DR

Location: Hybrid (Coppell, TX): 3 days in office, 2 days working from home

What you will do

• Execute onboarding and offboarding processes across the US, Canada, and Mexico.
• Coordinate multi-country payroll inputs, validate salary changes, and resolve discrepancies with providers.
• Ensure compliance with local requirements, including I-9 in the US and employment standards in Canada and Mexico.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity, track headcount, and support internal audits.
• Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR processes.
• Coordinate employment-based immigration processes, including work authorizations and renewals, with external counsel.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or HR Administration.
• Experience supporting the US market is required.
• Familiarity with payroll coordination and HRIS platforms.
• Strong understanding of operational HR processes within a scaling environment.

• Experience supporting employees in Canada and/or Mexico.
