What you will do

• Own end-to-end monthly payroll processing for Malaysia and regional markets, including joiners, exits, and incentives.
• Manage statutory submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS) and ensure compliance with local labour laws.
• Perform payroll reconciliations and validations to maintain audit-ready documentation and internal controls.
• Process salary adjustments, bonuses, and ad-hoc payments with absolute accuracy and confidentiality.
• Coordinate with regional payroll partners and EOR providers to resolve discrepancies and enforce SLAs.
• Prepare payroll reports and documentation for HR, Finance, and management to support budgeting and audits.

Requirements

• Experience in payroll operations, preferably covering multi-country or regional payroll.
• Strong understanding of Malaysian payroll legislation and statutory requirements.
• Hands-on experience with payroll systems, HRIS tools, and advanced spreadsheets.
• Proven ability to handle highly confidential information with discretion.
• Strong coordination skills for effective collaboration with HR, Finance, and external vendors.
• Proactive mindset focused on continuous process improvement and automation.
