TL;DR

Benefits Specialist (HR): Managing client benefits implementation and administration with an accent on compliance, data integrity, and plan design. Focus on optimizing benefits admin systems, performing audits, and resolving complex client inquiries.

Location: Remote (Must reside in Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zones and be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship)

Salary: $65,000–$75,000

What you will do

  • Implement and test new benefit plan designs for renewal or new clients, including tiered pricing structures.
  • Manage assigned client books, ensuring compliance and data integrity in the system of record.
  • Optimize benefits administration systems through data analysis, process documentation, and performance improvements.
  • Perform benefits analysis, validations, and audits to ensure quality control and adherence to procedures.
  • Provide ACA configuration and support, including the generation of 1095 forms.
  • Resolve client inquiries and manage cases within a target window of 3-5 days.

Requirements

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.
  • Must reside in Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zones.
  • 2+ years of experience in Benefits Services.
  • Experience with Prism HR or a similar HRIS incorporating benefits administration.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

  • Previous payroll experience.
  • Expertise in building benefit forms, workflows, and validating enrollment processes.
