Salary: $104,000 - $188,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop subject matter expertise in royalty and rights-related activities and contractual structures.
• Review and interpret agreements to ensure accurate application of accounting terms.
• Design, document, and implement scalable, auditable royalty accounting processes and internal controls.
• Partner with business, legal, and finance teams to operationalize new revenue streams.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects to investigate root causes of issues and drive process improvements.
• Validate periodic royalty and participation reports prepared by the team.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with a strong foundation in US GAAP.
• Demonstrated experience in complex, contract-driven accounting such as revenue recognition or royalties.
• Proven ability to interpret legal agreements and translate them into accounting treatments.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or equivalent preferred).
• Strong background in process improvement and operational scaling (Lean/Six Sigma preferred).
• Must have the right to work in the United States.

• Background in media, entertainment, gaming, or licensing industries.
• Experience with royalty systems, ERP platforms, and reporting tools.
• CPA or equivalent certification.
