Salary: $104,000 - $188,000 per year

What you will do
- Develop subject matter expertise in royalty and rights-related activities and contractual structures.
- Review and interpret agreements to ensure accurate application of accounting terms.
- Design, document, and implement scalable, auditable royalty accounting processes and internal controls.
- Partner with business, legal, and finance teams to operationalize new revenue streams.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects to investigate root causes of issues and drive process improvements.
- Validate periodic royalty and participation reports prepared by the team.
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with a strong foundation in US GAAP.
- Demonstrated experience in complex, contract-driven accounting such as revenue recognition or royalties.
- Proven ability to interpret legal agreements and translate them into accounting treatments.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or equivalent preferred).
- Strong background in process improvement and operational scaling (Lean/Six Sigma preferred).
- Must have the right to work in the United States.

- Background in media, entertainment, gaming, or licensing industries.
- Experience with royalty systems, ERP platforms, and reporting tools.
- CPA or equivalent certification.
