Salary: $89,000 - $139,000 CAD per year

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional initiatives to remediate control deficiencies and improve month-end close operational efficiency.
• Develop project plans, communicate goals, resource needs, and business outcomes.
• Coordinate between operational close teams and partners in Product, Engineering, and Financial Systems to integrate new products into the GL.
• Review current procedures to ensure accuracy of accounting entries and timely monthly closes.
• Collaborate with the Record-to-Report team to translate requirements into technical report requests.
• Resolve complex cross-functional issues and one-off business topics.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant professional experience (public accounting preferred).
• Solid understanding of US GAAP and experience with policy implementation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, pivot tables, data analysis).
• Strong project management skills and ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Must be based in Canada; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• SQL experience or a strong interest in developing SQL skills.
