What you will do
- Lead monthly and quarterly revenue close processes, including journal entries and variance analysis.
- Maintain revenue recognition schedules, contract classifications, and standalone selling price (SSP) analysis.
- Review customer contracts for ASC 606 compliance and provide guidance on deal structuring to Sales and Legal teams.
- Leverage AI tools to automate contract review, performance obligation identification, and revenue memo drafting.
- Perform in-depth revenue analytics to identify trends and maintain audit readiness through robust internal controls.
- Collaborate with FP&A to support forecasting and deferred revenue analysis.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in revenue accounting, preferably within SaaS or tech.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition principles.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and revenue recognition tools (e.g., RightRev).
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent basis without requiring employer sponsorship.
- Ability to integrate AI applications and automation technologies into accounting workflows.
