What you will do

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and scalability.
• Serve as the internal subject matter expert on US GAAP, managing technical accounting assessments and policy development.
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, fixed assets, and equity accounting.
• Champion the adoption of AI-enabled workflows and intelligent automation to modernize reporting architecture.
• Lead external audit coordination and maintain audit-ready processes across all accounting functions.
• Partner with cross-functional leadership to improve financial visibility and support M&A transactions.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with an active CPA license.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership in high-growth SaaS environments.
• Deep technical knowledge of US GAAP, specifically ASC 606, ASC 842, and business combinations.
• Proven track record in ERP optimization (e.g., NetSuite) and implementing finance technology ecosystems.
• Experience supporting M&A transactions, financial diligence, and international accounting operations.
