What you will do

• Own the holistic end-to-end user journey strategy for Twilio Email within the core One Console.
• Lead cross-channel harmonization across Messaging, Voice, and Email to build unified configuration narratives.
• Drive the long-term UX roadmap and structural evolution of the SendGrid platform.
• Partner with Product Directors and Engineering VPs to shape multi-year product roadmaps.
• Architect design frameworks for high-density data visualizations, event logs, and diagnostic dashboards.
• Mentor L3 designers and evolve Twilio’s centralized design system by pioneering complex email primitives.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional product design experience architecting complex, data-heavy B2B SaaS platforms or developer tools.
• Expert-level systems thinking with a portfolio showing deep structural design and complex data architectures.
• Proven track record of influencing product strategy at the Director and VP level.
• Ability to translate abstract technical primitives (APIs, SDKs) into seamless developer mental models.
• Must be based in the US.
• AI-powered UX mindset with curiosity and ability to integrate emerging AI tools into the design workflow.

Nice to have

• Practical experience designing interfaces specifically for technical builders (APIs, CLIs, SDKs).
• Expertise in designing monitoring systems, log viewers, or high-density analytical reporting dashboards.
• Deep familiarity with email delivery infrastructure, domain management (DNS, SPF, DKIM), or SendGrid.
