Salary: $169,000 - $199,000 USD (San Francisco, CA)

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end design process for borrower, lender, and internal operational experiences.
• Simplify complex verification workflows, including document collection, consent, and exception handling.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to define roadmaps and deliver high-quality, user-centric solutions.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to prototype, validate, and implement UI improvements.
• Facilitate design reviews and workshops to drive alignment across cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to design systems to ensure consistency and scalability across the platform.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of product design experience with a proven track record of shipping high-quality products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end thinking, problem framing, and measurable impact.
• Ability to distill complex, regulated domains into simple and usable user flows.
• Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments.
• Strong product instincts and ability to balance user needs with business and technical constraints.
• Must be able to work from a hub location 3+ days a week.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, lending, mortgage, or compliance-heavy spaces.
• Background in designing B2B or B2B2C products for operations teams.
• Familiarity with design systems and scalable component thinking.
• Experience designing for secure data, consent, and privacy-forward user experiences.
