TL;DR
Sr. Developer Advocate Engineer (API): Shaping how developers discover and build with by bridging the gap between engineering and the community with an accent on technical content and community engagement. Focus on creating high-quality tutorials, representing the company at conferences, and translating developer feedback into product improvements.
Location: Remote (USA and Canada). Must be located in a state or province where is registered.
Compensation: Canada CA$120K – CA$170K; USA $115K – $165K

What you will do
- Represent as a technical ambassador at conferences, meetups, webinars, and industry events.
- Create high-quality technical content, including blog posts, tutorials, videos, and sample applications in JavaScript, Python, and Go.
- Engage authentically with developer communities on Reddit, Hacker News, Discord, GitHub, and X/Twitter.
- Champion the developer experience and translate community feedback into actionable recommendations for product and engineering teams.
- Develop thought leadership around APIs, AI agents, communications infrastructure, and developer productivity.
- Build and maintain code samples, SDKs, and developer tooling to improve onboarding and adoption.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, Solutions Engineering, or Technical Marketing.
- Strong software development skills and proficiency in JavaScript, Python, and Go.
- Deep understanding of APIs, OAuth, webhooks, authentication, and modern integration patterns.
- Exceptional written communication and experience speaking publicly at conferences or workshops.
- Must be based in a state or province where is registered.
Nice to have
- Experience building or scaling a Developer Relations program.
- Familiarity with AI agents, LLM applications, and the broader AI ecosystem.
- Open-source contributions or a visible technical portfolio (blog, newsletter, community presence).
- Experience creating video content, workshops, or technical courses.

Hiring process
