What you will do

  • Establish insurance cover and record claims within the digital handling system.
  • Investigate liability claims through desk research or by instructing loss adjusters.
  • Make liability decisions and negotiate claim settlements.
  • Ensure strict compliance with legal timescales and client SLAs.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with external clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience handling injury claims within an insurance or legal environment.
  • Knowledge of insurance policy wording, terms, and conditions.
  • Ability to value injury claims and apply reserving philosophies.
  • Proficiency with Civil Procedure Rules and the Claims Portal.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and IT skills.
