Salary: $52,900 – $108,000

What you will do

• Develop and maintain software integrations with advanced hardware systems using low-level programming.
• Translate real-world mission needs into technical specifications for customer-focused engineering solutions.
• Design, develop, and test interfaces between embedded and peripheral devices, including tactical radios, BLE beacons, and RF/sensor hardware.
• Enable reliable device discovery and data exchange across hardware and software boundaries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering.
• Experience with low-level programming languages: C, C#, and C++.
• Experience developing and debugging software for physical devices (USB, UART, GATT services, and peripheral SDKs).
• Knowledge of embedded systems, compiler design, and hardware integrations.
• Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with the TAK and Sit(x) ecosystem (ATAK, iTAK, or TAK Server).
• Knowledge of AI and ML development for software and hardware systems.
• Amateur Radio License or FAA Remote Pilot Certification.
