What you will do

• Develop real-time embedded software for digital, analog, power, and motion control systems.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document embedded software components.
• Participate in design and code reviews, as well as hardware/software integration testing.
• Perform design trade-offs in a collaborative, multi-disciplined team environment.
• Communicate project status and schedule input to management and team members.
• Improve work processes to enhance team efficiency and maintain technical standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in embedded software, hardware, or firmware development.
• Proficiency in C++ and/or C within an embedded environment.
• Experience with unit and integration test methodologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical documentation.

Nice to have

• 3+ years of relevant product development experience.
• Experience with Linux kernel and device driver development.
• Knowledge of VxWorks or other real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Experience with electromechanical design and motion control.
• Familiarity with PHP, scripting languages, or assembly programming.
