TL;DR

Location: Must be based in or able to relocate to Warren, Michigan. This role is hybrid and requires regular on-site presence.

What you will do

• Develop visual concepts for user interface features and experiences.
• Collaborate with UI designers to iterate on design ideas.
• Produce high-quality, production-ready 3D and 2D assets.
• Create and maintain design intent documentation and asset libraries.
• Ensure consistency and quality across various GM brand programs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in 3D art, visualization, or motion design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating 3D CGI production and visual storytelling.
• Proficiency in 3D software such as Blender or Maya.
• Experience with post-production tools like After Effects, Nuke, or Photoshop.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; GM does not provide immigration sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive visualization or in-cabin digital experiences.
• Ability to create diverse visual styles ranging from realistic to stylized.
• Understanding of the bridge between early ideation and final production.
