What you will do

• Lead the design, creation, and implementation of UI elements in Unreal Engine, including HUDs, menus, and interactive systems.
• Collaborate with designers, programmers, and audio staff to ensure the UI aligns with gameplay and art vision.
• Mentor junior UI artists to maintain consistency and grow their technical skills.
• Produce polished, visually consistent assets using Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
• Animate interactive elements, transitions, and feedback systems for a responsive feel.
• Utilize particle systems, shaders, and mesh effects to enhance UI visual impact.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in game UI roles with leadership experience.
• Expert proficiency in Unreal Engine, Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects.
• Proven track record of having shipped at least one AA/AAA title.
• Deep knowledge of typography, color theory, layout design, and usability principles.
• Valid US work authorization (required for E-Verify/I-9 process).
• Ability to lead UI discussions with cross-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience designing UI for shooter, co-op, or action-adventure games.
• Strong motion graphics or VFX skills for UI elements.
• Experience with inclusive and accessible UI design.
